Is Alpenglow open?
The year-round facility is in development and is not open. Alpenglow’s current Sunset Skills Lab takes place at MSO Beach at Playfair Park. See current session details for registration and requirements.
Where will the facility be, and when will it open?
A final location and opening date have not been confirmed. We are evaluating an existing-building conversion and a purpose-built facility. Follow our progress for the latest published update.
Do I need to be an experienced athlete?
The future vision includes entry points for beginners, recreational players, developing athletes, and competitors. Each current or future program will have its own requirements. Sunset Skills Lab is currently intended for Alpenglow alumni and returning beach players.
Will I need a membership?
We are planning several ways to participate, including memberships, casual open play, clinics, leagues, youth programs, and group rentals. Final access rules and prices are still being developed.
What is the Learning + Movement Commons?
It is a planned space for study, play, enrichment, and gathering alongside the sports spaces. Supervision, access rules, and programming are still being developed. It should not yet be understood as a drop-off childcare service.
Can I join the founding community now?
Yes. Use the Get involved form and choose “Founding community” to register interest. No payment is requested, and this does not reserve a membership or guarantee future benefits.
Can my organization run a program there?
We welcome conversations with coaches, clubs, schools, community organizations, and operating partners. Tell us the activity, group size, season, and space you would need. Visit Partners to explore the possibilities.
