FUTURE FACILITY · PLANNED

Find a starting point. See a path forward.

The future program vision connects first experiences with regular play, coached development, and competition. These offerings are in planning; enrollment, schedules, and pricing have not opened.

Beach: play, train, compete

Open Sand for shared play. Sand Social for organized social sessions. Clinics and skill labs for focused improvement. Leagues and tournaments for putting practice into play. Court reservations are also part of the access plan.

Pickleball: make it a routine

Regular daytime play is a central idea, alongside open play, lessons, clinics, leagues, and reserved court time. The aim is to give both newer and established players a place to return.

Youth development: keep the joy.

The planned youth pathway starts with movement and play, then builds skills through repetition, feedback, and increasing challenge. Progression would reflect readiness and coaching judgment, with room for athletes to begin where they are.

Basecamp

A planned introduction for ages 7–10: agility, games in the sand, and early volleyball through low-net play and small-sided games.

Alpenglow Academy

The proposed progression moves through Foundations, Development, Performance, Club Prep, and Club Teams. Each stage would build on durable fundamentals, with live play to help athletes use what they learn.

Strength for sport and life

Coached strength, small-group performance training, and youth athletic development are part of the vision. Recovery and wellness spaces are also being explored as the facility and operating plan take shape.

One floor, many possibilities

A divisible multiuse gym could support basketball, futsal, indoor volleyball, camps, and team training. Alpenglow programs and partner-led sessions could share the space across the week.

BEACH AT THE HEART

The sand is part of the experience.

A good beach environment starts underfoot. Alpenglow’s planning considers the sand, its depth, the systems beneath it, and the equipment around it together. Those choices shape how the space plays and how it can be cared for over time.

Selected for the sport

Purpose-selected volleyball sand is part of the plan. Final materials and installation details will be chosen through design and procurement.

Room to change the game

Removable nets and poles could open the sand for conditioning, movement camps, sand soccer, and creative group activities.

Winter inside. Summer outside.

Indoor courts would extend the season through Montana winters, while summer remains a time for Missoula’s outdoor beach community.
